Morning Blend Yoga Series

Do you like your morning Joe? Then join your friends at EYC for the best blend yet! A mix of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary Series and the 26 & 2 Bikram Series. There will be time at the end for an optional pranayama practice. This Series will remain consistent from week to week. Taught by PJ Martine Adams.

Ayurvedic Lifestyle Series

This Series is for those interest in learning about cultivating an Ayurvedic Lifestyle. Ayurveda is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science. Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through close attention to balance in one’s life, right thinking, diet, lifestyle and the use of herbs. The focus will be mainly on using food as medicine. We will ask that you purchase some ingredients TBD.

This 16-week Series is a continuation of our ongoing classes. If you are interested in joining but did not take the Fall Series, please contact Mary. Participation in class is preferred although each class is recorded in case of absence and for review. Taught by Geeta Tiwari.

Mantra Yoga Series, Spring 2020

This 16-week series is open to anyone interested in deepening their connection to Sanskrit mantras through the language, philosophy, and practice. Students will chant and study mantras from the EYC Mantra Chanting Book. Please purchase the EYC Mantra Chanting Book ($30, available here) or in studio. Taught by Geeta Tiwari.

Intro to Sanskrit Series

This 12-week Series will guide you through the reading, writing, pronunciation of the Sanskrit script (Devanagari), the building blocks to the “language of yoga.” Please let Mary know in advance if there are weeks you will be out of town and we will put together group make-up sessions/review. Taught by Mary Kirkendoll.

Yoga Buddy Partner Series

Join Mary & Katie for an Asana Partnering Series that will guide you through: resistance, facilitated opening, alignment awareness, building trust, using your hands, verbal communication, body assessments and more! Open to all levels of experience with asana. Feel free to come with a “yoga buddy” or be paired up with a partner at the beginning of class. We will do our best to create a warm and inviting environment to feel comfortable learning about your own body and helping others do the same. Consecutive attendance is not required. Taught by Katie Tree & Mary Kirkendoll.
